Almost 19 years ago I graduate as a Civil Engineer, and eventually turned into a Kabbalistic Astrologer, who turned into a Health Coach, a Family Herbalist a Nutritionist Herbalist an Herbalist and I am now on the way to finish my Master Herbalist.
I grew up in a farm and always felt close to the natural world of plants and nature in general, however I rarely used herbs as medicine –I looked at them as food or ornaments- I thought their medicinal properties acted as a placebo. If I ever needed treatment I would rely on the pharmaceuticals -with their thousands of side effects. That was until after giving birth to my second child I just could not find myself feeling good. A friend introduced me to an Herbalist in Ohio, who not only sold me a few herbal preparations but also educated me on the basics of healing with plants. The change within me for the better was immediate and I was hook into herbs.
What started as a curiosity and self-experiments with different herbs, turned into experiments with my whole family. To the point that we depend on herbs for our health care. With the exceptional once a year visit to the Dr. required by the school system.
What I loved the most about learning about herbs was the fact that the herbs don’t heal anything; they simple provide the body with the minerals, vitamins and different constituents that the organs of the body need to maintain health or heal itself, it is a fantastic healing food.
Our bodies are an amazing creation. What happened along the way that we ended up with so many diseases and illnesses? If we don’t nourish our body with what it needs to keeps its physiological harmony and a state of good health, then it can’t keep up with the load and diseases comes.
The body understands what it needs, and certain herbs contain the nutrients required.
Whatever is left of the Engineer within me is making its maximum effort in investigating, the herbs, finding the right matches and calculating the proportions into each formula you will find in this website.
Aneni Herbs, is my attempt to share with you the knowledge I have gain about herbs, and share some of the self-experiments, maybe they will work for you too? Each herbal preparation is not only infused with the herbal properties, but also with my intention ‘kavana’ that your body will find the nutrients it needs to maintain and obtain good health.
It’s not just an herbal capsule or a teaspoon of syrup, it’s the intention behind it. Aneni is a Hebrew word used by one of my Favorite sages, Rabbi Meir Baal Anes. Aneni, carried a phrase that I have always felt it rung true with me, in good times -times of gratefulness and appreciations and in challenging times, times of testing and learning. Aneni summarizes: ‘God is with me’.
I really wish to feel that the universal force or harmony, peace, healing love and everything that is good for us is with us.
